Welcome to the Technex Hackathon

Technex - Hackathon is the first version of University Hackathon in Nagpur under Technex, the Annual Technical Fest of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur. It is a platform where hackers, developers, innovators, entreuprenuers, students can come together to create solutions to real life problems. Developers can showcase their abilities, students can increase their network, innovators can create new solutions. We invite all the young minds out there to come and showcase their skills, increase their network and have fun.

Technex Hackathon serves as a platform to encourage enthusiastic minds to brainstorm on solutions for challenging issues from all over India. The unified motive of gathering all like minded hackers to our alma mater, is what led to the creation of the idea in St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, the first of its kind. We'll provide a platform for innovations, where developers can test and showcase their potential to the best of their abilities. The hackathon will also have keynotes & workshops from executives from the industry.

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur is one of the premier private institutions providing engineering courses in Nagpur. It was founded on the belief of proving quality education. It has completed 10 successful year of providing quality education to the students. Student from all over the state come here to study and bring out the best in them.

We are pleased to inform you that our college is premier Engineering Institute, rendering quality technical education in Central India. It is run by the Nagpur Pallotine Society, part of the International Pallottine Society having its presence in 52 countries . The college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Maharashtra and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college has a strength ofover 2000 students from different parts of the country; is proactive in the areas of innovation & amp; research, hosting several events to encourage students. We are actively associated with e Yantra competitions, IIT Bombay and in 2016 have set up the e Yantra lab under e LSI, a collaborative initiative of IIT Bombay and MHRD.

Technex-Hackathon is an offline event and as a participant you will need to be present at svpcet campus.
Students enrolled in any college in India can apply for the hackathon.
No. Registrations are completely free of cost.
Accomodation is limited, it will be first come first serve basis and food will be provided.
We are looking for people who innovate and can build crazy, unique solutions to real-world problems. Tell us why you want to be a part of Technex-Hackathon, any accomplishments you are proud of and anything else which could strengthen your application.
You can form teams of up to 4 people. Most teams aim to have a mix of people with both design and developer skills
Just fill out the application form and we will match you with the best team possible on site. You could also join our Telegram group @Technex-Hackathon 2020 to find potential teammates.
The hackathon will instantly increase your knowledge and skill level and will serve as a platform to socialize with the tech community. Cash prizes and other perks are in store for the winners and cool swag for all participants.
Bring your student ID, laptop and chargers. A pillow and sleeping bag may be useful as well. Please leave anything illegal at home.
Yes. Creativity is independent of your technical skills. You can learn the tools and technologies anytime.
We believe being forced to build on problem statements limits creativity and participants should have the freedom to express their creativity. However some broad tracks are Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, FinTech, Future Mobility, Algorithms, AR/VR.
No. In the interest of fairness, students should not be working on their projects before the hackathon begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand.
